About the Team
Charity-Registered Dental Hygienist
We welcome Charity as the newest addition to our team. She earned her Associate Degree in Science from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2008 with the recognition of “excellence in dental hygiene.” Charity takes pride in the fact that our clients are given optimal dental care. Because prevention plays a vital role in the overall health and maintenance of all of our clients, she loves to see them caring about their oral health as much as we do. She also appreciates the team work displayed by all the staff.
When she is not in the office, Charity enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and the ocean. Charity and her husband are the proud parents of three active and wonderful boys.
Nelson, Registered Dental Hygienist
Nelson earned his BS in biology from Wheaton College and his AS in dental health from Luzerne Community College, where he was recognized as the outstanding graduate. His professional associations include Sigma Phi Alpha – Dental Hygiene Honors and Sigma Chi - Research Society.
While caring for our patients over the past nine years, Nelson has loved the overall commitment to excellence shown by all members of the team. He works to maintain high standards.
Lisa, Treatment Coordinator
Lisa was educated at the Harrisburg Institute of Radiology and the West Branch Technology Center. She is a highly knowledgeable resource for patients in need of informative, easy to understand treatment planning and financing options. Lisa loves seeing our patients pleased with treatment results. She especially enjoys when someone smiles more freely after their teeth are cosmetically improved. Appreciative of the care our entire staff exhibits, Lisa looks forward to addressing any patient's needs and concerns.
In her free time, Lisa likes reading, hiking, water sports, attending craft shows, and being with her family. She and her husband have been married since 1986 and have two wonderful sons.
Kristan, Office coordinator
Kristen holds an associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography, and she joined our team in 2009. She has the important job of reminding our patients about regular cleanings and checkups, preventive appointments that ensure optimal oral health. An enthusiastic people-person, Kristen loves meeting new patients and maintaining relationships with existing patients.
When she's not working in our front office, Kristen enjoys playing with her children, Christian and Gunner, as well as watching their activities and antics.
Danielle, Treatment Coordinator
With nine years of experience in dentistry, Danielle joined our team in 2008. She works chairside with Dr. Marks to ensure that procedures run smoothly and patients feel comfortable during dental care. A lifelong learner, Danielle enjoys expanding her dental knowledge and sharing oral health information with our patients. She holds X-ray certification, so you'll probably meet her during your first visit. Danielle and her husband, Joe, have two beautiful daughters: Kyarra, age 13, and Katelyn, age 15. When she isn't transforming smiles with Dr. Marks, Danielle likes to watch her daughters' sporting events and spend quality time with her family.
Renee, Business Development Coordinator
Renee helped found the practice with Dr. Marks in 1973 and served the patients as a dental hygienist until 1990. She still is on loan to us when her teaching and consulting schedule permits. Currently she teaches dental hygiene and dental practice management at the Scottsdale Center for dentistry and in consults in the areas of periodontal care and practice management. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene program and The Pennsylvania State University with a master's degree in training and development. She has lectured extensively throughout the U.S. and has articles published in professional journals.
Linda, Office Coordinator
Linda is a graduate of Bucks County Community College with a Medical Assistant certificate and also holds X-ray certification. Highly experienced in the field, she came to us in 2009 with 25 years of experience working in medical and dental offices. As our office coordinator, Linda helps everything run smoothly by scheduling appointments, working diligently to maximize insurance benefits for our patients, and answering questions over the phone.
She and her husband are proud parents of five children, and in her spare time, Linda enjoys gardening and sewing.
