Danielle – Treatment Coordinator

Donald Marks Family Dentistry treatment coordinator, Danielle Danielle has over 17 years of experience in the dental profession and has been with us since 2008. She works chairside with Dr. Marks to ensure that procedures run smoothly and patients feel comfortable during dental care. A lifelong learner, Danielle enjoys expanding her dental knowledge and sharing oral health information with our patients. She holds X-ray certification, so you'll probably meet her during your first visit!

Danielle and her husband, Joe, have two beautiful daughters: Kyarra, who is 13, and Katelyn, who is 15. When she isn't transforming smiles with Dr. Marks, Danielle likes to watch her daughters' sporting events and spend quality time with her family.

 

Renee – Business Development Coordinator

State College business development coordinator, Renee Renee helped found the practice with Dr. Marks in 1973 and served the patients as a dental hygienist until 1990. She still works in the office when her teaching and consulting schedule permits. Renee founded her own consulting company, Marnee Management LLC, in 2008. Prior to this, she coached for 10 years at numerous private practices, as well as the Scottsdale Center for dentistry in the areas of periodontal care and practice management.

Renee is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene program and Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her Master's Degree in Training and Development. She has lectured extensively throughout the U.S. and has articles published in professional journals.

 

Lindsey - Dental Hygienist

Donald Marks Family Dentistry dental hygienist, LindseyLindsey has worked in the dental field since 2010. She holds an associates of applied science in dental hygiene from the Allegany College of Maryland, and a bachelor of science in healthcare administration and management form Colorado State University. Voted the top hygienist of 2010 by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals, Lindsey is passionate about offering her patients only the best care. She is dedicated to continuing education as well as serving her professional and local communities, and combines the two while serving as the Vice President of the Huntingdon Health and Wellness Association.

Outside the office, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family, vacationing, camping, going to Lake Raystown, and anything outdoors.

 

Crystal - Dental Hygienist

Donald Marks Family Dentistry dental assistant, Andrea We are excited to welcome Crystal, the newest member of our team, who joined our practice in 2017. She has been in working in the dental profession since 2013. As a dual degree dental professional, she has diplomas in Dental Assisting from YTI and in Dental Hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology. Currently Crystal is scheduled to graduate in May of 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Policy and Administration. Crystal lives with her rescue Puggle Benji. In her spare time, she is both a stained-glass and floral artist, avid gym goer, enjoys camping, and spending time with family, friends and Benji. When she is not delivering care in our office, she volunteers in her community to provide dental for the under-served.

When asked what she loves about her job, she stated: Our entire team goes the extra mile for every patient to receive the best dental care and the passion Dr. Marks has for dentistry.

 

 

Roxanna – Administrator for Patient Services

State College administrator for patient services, Roxanna Roxanna joined our practice in March of 2014 and brought nearly 20 years of experience with all facets of dental care to our team. She attended Allegany College and has been happily married for over 15 years to her husband Ray. They have a beautiful daughter Kayla. Roxanna enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughter’s sports competitions as well as volunteering for the American Cancer Society, Saxton Library, and the Clay Bishop Water Rescue Fund. Roxanna likes helping patients achieve optimal dental health and educating them on the correlation between dental health and overall health. She especially loves the compassion and enthusiasm that Dr. Marks and the whole team have for each patient.

 

Andrea - Dental Assistant

Donald Marks Family Dentistry dental assistant, Andrea Andrea came to us as a graduate of the Central Pennsylvania Institute for Science and Technology’s Certified Dental Assisting Program. As a top student in the program, Andrea qualified for and placed first in the Pennsylvania State Dental Assisting Competition. This allowed her to compete in the national competition which was held in Kansas City. There she placed third in the nation.

Andrea is excited about her new career at Marks Family Dentistry where she enjoys meeting all of our patients and caring for them. She likes the fact that the whole team goes the extra mile to ensure every patient receives the best dental care and the passion that Dr. Marks has for dentistry.

When out of the office, Andrea loves spending time with family and friends, being active outside, especially going fishing.
